Mining soft

  • A few days ago, the regular hardfork of the popular Monero cryptocurrency took place, in which the mining algorithm changed from CryptonightV8 to Cryptonight R. Starting from version 2.10.0, XMR-Stack multiminer specializing in various variations of the Cryptonight algorithm introduced into its code support for Cryptonight R for mining Monero after hard forks. The XMR-Stack is distributed as open source software, i.e. You can independently compile this miner to your needs without a developer’s commission, or use ready-made compiled versions with a built-in commission of 2%. You can download the latest version of the XMR-Stack on GitHub.

  • Gminer 1.35 will be extremely interesting for owners of AMD video cards, since With this software you can mine GRIN, SWAP and Aeternity. For owners of Nvidia video cards, there is also good news, because for mining GRIN29 and SWAP Nvidia video cards on the latest version of Gminer will be able to get a little more hashrate. Download Gminer at this link.

  • Bminer in version 15.1.0 can offer an increased hashrate on Cuckaroo29 and Cuckatoo31 algorithms for mining GRIN in the range of 2-5%. Also in this version, the experimental possibility of mining GRIN on AMD video cards was introduced, but only video cards with ROCm support (these are video cards no older than R9 Fury and RX470). ROCm stands for Radeon Open Compute - AMD's own implementation of the OpenCL library. You can download the latest version of the miner on the Bminer.me website.

  • SRBminer in the current version added several algorithms at once: Wownero, CryptonightR, Conceal, Zelerius, Xcash, Mox V8. The most popular of them is CryptonightR or CryptonightV4, which will be used on the monero network after hard forks in early March. SRBminer only supports AMD video cards on Windows mining rigs. SRBMiner has a low commission of 0.85% and auto switching algorithms (need a pool with support for auto-switching). Download the latest version of SRBminer on the Bitcointalk forum.

  • TT-miner or TradeTec miner is a multiminer for Nvidia video cards with support for several mining algorithms at once: ProgPow, MTP, Ethash, UBGhash and Myraid-Groestl. TT-miner is distributed as a miner with a closed source code and a commission of 1%. At the same time, the author offers his product only for Windows platforms (Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 10), but a linux version should appear soon. At the moment, the miner shows a good result on the MTP (Zcoin) algorithm. For the GTX1080ti video card, the hash rate on the MTP algorithm will be around 3.3 MH / s, which is close to the popular GRIN in mining profitability. For the Ethash and MTP algorithms, you can also connect to the Nicehash pool. Download the latest version of TT-miner on the Bitcointalk forum.

  • In the next update of Gminer, in addition to supporting the Cuckaroo29s mining algorithm for the SWAP cryptocurrency, mining support for BEAM (Equihash 150/5) AMD was added, but only on the Linux version of the miner, and the productivity of the miner was increased by 5% for GRIN and Aeternity. Gminer is a miner with a closed source code and a commission of 2%, you can download the latest version on the Bitcointalk forum.

  • NBminer immediately jumped from version 14 to version 20, in which mining became available on the Cuckatoo31 cryptocurrency GRIN algorithm. Previously, only Cuckaroo29 was available. When mining green, there is a new opportunity to select the load on the CPU. The support of the Nicehash pool for GRIN is also announced. The NBminer mining performance at GRIN is close to Bminer, which shows the highest results on this algorithm. NBminer only supports Nvidia video cards and takes a commission of 0.65% to 3% depending on the selected algorithm. Download the latest version of NBminer on Github.

  • CryptoDredge multimedia for Nvidia video cards in the latest version 17.0 immediately added 4 new algorithms: Cuckaroo29 (GRIN), CuckooCircle (Aeternity), CryptoNightGPU and CryptonightTurtle. Since The currency of GRIN is of the greatest interest to the miners, so we will immediately inform you that the hash rate offered by this miner on the Cuckaroo29 algorithm is currently lower than that of the competitors Bminer and Gminer. Cryptodredge takes a commission of 1% and is available for Windows and Linux systems. You can download the miner on the Bitcointalk forum.

  • Bminer 15.0 can offer GRIN mining using the Cuckatoo31 algorithm on video cards with 8Gb video memory (GTX1070, RTX2070, RTX2080) previously available only for GTX1080ti and RTX2080ti. Starting mining with 8Gb will only work on Linux and Windows 7, Windows 10 is currently not available due to the use of more video memory. The transition from Cuckaroo29 to Сuckatoo31 is more than justified, because the GTX1070 video card on the Cuckatoo31 algorithm yields a yield of 70% more than on Cuckaroo29. The simplest solution for farm owners on Windows 10 is to switch to HiveOS (up to 3 rigs for free) or MinerBabeOS (1% commission). Download the miner on Bminer.me

  • In the current version 1.32, Gminer slightly increased mining performance using the Cuckaroo29 (GRIN) algorithm, delivering 0.1-0.2Gps more than its competitor Bminer. Also added is the possibility of mining BEAM on AMD video cards (Equihash 150/5 algorithm). Gminer is a closed miner with a commission of 2%, which can be downloaded from the official Bitcointalk forum.

  • In the latest version of Bminer 14.2, developers have added support for the Cuckatoo31 algorithm for the Nvidia GTX1080ti and RTX2080ti video cards in an experimental mode that requires at least 11Gb of video memory. Start mining GRIN on this algorithm is now obtained only under Linux OS. At the same time, the hashrate of video cards is significantly higher than that of the Gminer competitors, 0.9Gps instead of 0.6GPS. But Gminer in version 1.31 allows you to run mining on the Cuckatoo31 algorithm already with 8Gb of video memory. Download the latest version of bminer on the Bminer.me website.

  • As usual with the emergence of new mining algorithms, the creators of various miners begin to intensively optimize their software to improve the performance of video cards in mining and at the same time luring most of the miners from their competitors to their side. With the advent of the GRIN cryptocurrency on the Cuckaroo algorithm, several developers were involved in the race for miners: Bminer, Gminer, NBminer, Lolminer and others. The last word in this confrontation was said by the Gminer developers with version 1.30, offering an increased hashrate of 5-7%, compared with the previous version, when mining GRIN on Nvidia video cards. Download the latest version of Gminer on the Bitcointalk forum.

  • The popular T-REX multiminer for Nvidia video cards has been updated to version 9.2, which added support for the X16rt algorithm for mining GIN cryptocurrency, which will soon change the Lyra2z algorithm to X16rt. At the moment, GIN is testing a new algorithm in its test network, to which you can also connect and test your farms at work on the X16rt algorithm. T-Rex takes a commission of 1% for all available 23 mining algorithms, you can download the latest version for Windows or Linux on Bitcointalk

  • TeamRedMiner is a specialized multi-miner for AMD video cards. The latest versions in the miner added support for the Lyra2Rev3 algorithm for mining Vertcoin after hard fork on February 2, 2019. In addition to the Lyra2Rev3 algorithm, the miner supports the following algorithms: PHI2, Lyra2z, and CryptonightV8. TeamRedMiner is software with closed source code and a commission of developers: 2.5% (Lyra2Rev3, CryptonightV8), 3% (PHI2, Lyra2z). You can download the latest version of the miner on the Bitcointalk forum.

Hashrate AMD video cards on Lyra2Rev3 algorithm:

  • NBminer to the 14th version got support for the mining of GRIN cryptocurrency with a hash rate at the level of the fastest miners Gminer and Bminer. But this is not the most important thing in this update, because the miner’s developers managed to raise the hashrate of Nvidia video cards by 200% when mining Bytom cryptocurrency, but only for the latest generation RTX video cards with tensor cores and Ray Tracing blocks.

For example, the RTX2080 video card currently produces 12000H/ s on the Bytom (BTM) algorithm, and the GTX1070Ti is only 3400H/s.

  • February 2, 2019 in the Vertcoin cryptocurrency network will happen hardfork with a change in the mining algorithm from Lyra2Rev2 to Lyra2Rev3. Using the latest version of ccminer Tpruvot 2.3.1, owners of Nvidia video cards will be able to prepare for this transition in advance, in order to get the maximum benefit in the first hours of the Vertcoin hard forks. In addition to Lyra2Rev3, 3 more algorithms were added: sha256q, exosis, blake2b.

  • For mining Zcoin cryptocurrency is used a little-known mining algorithm MTP, which is supported by well-known miners CryptoDredge (Nvidia) and WildrigMulti (AMD). But besides these miners, there is also a fork of the open miner sgminer from djm34 with code optimization for the MTP algorithm, which offers improved performance on this algorithm up to 50%, but only for AMD video cards. The sgminer fork from djm34, like the sgminer itself, is offered as open source with the ability to compile for any OS. Already compiled miner on GitHub can be downloaded only for Windows. At the moment there are two versions of the kernel for video cards RX580 and older, as well as a kernel called Vega with higher performance.

  • Lolminer is so far the only miner that allows the use of video cards with 3Gb video memory in the mining cryptocurrency Beam, which include the popular GTX 1060 3Gb miners and the almost forgotten legends R9 7970, R9 280x and their analogues. And the old AMD R9 from 2012 is not only nominally able to mine the Beam cryptocurrency, but also generate income from such mining even considering their high power consumption. Lolminer will be appreciated not only by the owners of "vintage" AMD video cards, but also by the owners of modern AMD RX video cards for the high hash rate comparable to Nvidia video cards.

  • Gminer, like Bminer, supports the mining of GRIN and BEAM, but with a slightly smaller hash rate, however, according to our observations, this miner is more stable and suitable for those who have problems with the work of their rigs on Bminer. Gminer also has two versions for Linux and Windows, the commission for using the miner will be 2%.

    Possible hashrate of video cards:

  • In the last 14 versions, Bminer increased its productivity during the extraction of GRIN and Aeternity by 5-10%. In addition, the reduction of rejects and a more accurate display of the hashrate in the miner are stated. For GRIN and Aeternity Bminer, you can only use Nvidia graphics cards. The miner also supports other types of Equihash, Ethash and Beam  mining. Bminer developers offer two versions for Linux and Windows on their Bminer.me website for download.
