The Geforce RTX 3060 video card became the first consumer video card from Nvidia with a mining limiter, which reduces the hash rate of a video card based on the Ethash algorithm exactly in half. Some time later, the beta version of drivers 470.05 leaked from the company, in which the hashrate of the video card was not limited, but under certain conditions: using a full-fledged PCIEx16 connector and connecting a monitor (monitor emulator). In this mode and when using the 470.05 drivers, the Nvidia Geforce RTX 3060 video card outputs 50Mh/s on the Ethash algorithm, instead of 25Mh/s with the mining limiter enabled. Yesterday, a new release of Lolminer 1.29 was released, which removes the blocking of mining, that is, you can use a video card with a racer and without a connected monitor. The hash rate will be 45% higher than with blocking - 35Mh/s, which is still less than with the beta driver on Windows. To remove the Ethereum mining block in Lolminer 1.29, there is only one limitation left - the use of Nvidia drivers of any version between 455.45.01 and 460.39. Lolminer 1.29 is currently available for Linux only and is already available on HiveOS and for download on GitHub.
