The company MicroBT has been producing Bitcoin ASIC miners under the Whatsminer brand for quite some time, and they have firmly secured the second position in popularity after Bitmain's products. In October 2023, this lineup was expanded with new models bearing the indices: M60, M60S, M63, M63S, M66, and M66S. It's worth noting that only three months have passed since the announcement of the enhanced models from the previous generation, M50S++.
The new generation of mining devices from MicroBT is also available in three variants: air-cooled M60, water-cooled M63, and immersion-cooled M66.
For each variant, there are four power options: two for the standard model and two for the enhanced model with an "S" designation.
The enhanced model boasts better energy efficiency and a higher hash rate.

As evident from the technical specifications, the new Whatsminer ASICs represent a new generation of energy-efficient Bitcoin miners, although they fall slightly short of the recently introduced Bitmain Antminer S21 series. However, they are already available for order and can be delivered within 7 days of payment. It's worth noting that Bitmain plans to begin shipments of the Antminer S21 only in 2024. Therefore, as of now, the Whatsminer M60 and its variants are the most advanced and energy-efficient ASIC miners on the market.
