Airdrop Starknet. Who can get STRK tokens

The second-layer scaling network (L2) Starknet on the Ethereum blockchain from February 20, 2024, to June 20, 2024, is conducting an Airdrop of its STRK tokens totaling more than 700 million. The number of users (wallets) who will receive Starknet tokens for free exceeds 1.3 million, which is a record among similar cryptocurrency reward programs. Since tokens will be distributed for free not only to participants in the Starknet project community, but also to participants in the Ethereum community, as well as players of certain networked games.
You can check if you are eligible to receive free STRK tokens for your Starknet wallet (ArgentX or Bravvos), Ethereum wallet (Metamask), or your GitHub account on the website provisions.starknet.io. The site is not accessible to citizens of the United States, so please use IP address substitution services.

The following users will receive Starknet token airdrops:
- The largest number of tokens, namely 50%, will be received by users who were active for at least 3 months before November 15, 2023, with transaction volumes of at least 100 USD and a balance of at least 0.005 ETH. Depending on the user's activity, they can expect an airdrop of at least 500 STRK.
- Early project participants. The list of participants receiving airdrops under this criterion was announced on December 29, 2023, where each candidacy was considered individually for their contributions to the community. There are slightly over 2000 such individuals. More details can be found at this link.
- Developers of the Starknet project. All those who participated in development before November 15, 2023, will receive from 500 to 180,000 STRK depending on their contribution to the project.
- Users of decentralized applications (dAPPS) based on StarkEX (predecessor to Starknet) until June 1, 2022. This list of applications includes the DyDx platform and games like Immutable X, Rhinofi, and Soarer. If you are one of them, you are eligible to receive 111.1 STRK.
- Participants in the Ethereum cryptocurrency protocol guild as of November 15, 2023, will receive 10,000 STRK each.
- Ethereum developers who have made at least 3 commits before November 15, 2023, with at least one commit falling within the timeframe from January 1, 2018, to November 15, 2023.
- Authors of Ethereum EIP improvements who proposed at least one improvement before November 15, 2023, will receive 2000 STRK each.
- Stakers (validators) of Ethereum. Each validator who started Ethereum POS mining before November 15, 2023, will receive 1800 STRK, and a validator who deposited 32 ETH to a special staking smart contract address before the launch of Beaconchain in December 2020 will receive 3600 STRK. The reward can be claimed for up to 12 validators launched from one Ethereum address. Users of custodial staking services like Lido, Binance, will also receive their STRK, but in a much smaller amount of 360 STRK.
- Developers of the top 5000 projects on GitHub can also claim free Starknet tokens. To do this, you need to submit at least three commits before November 15, 2023, including one commit between January 1, 2018, and November 15, 2023, to one of the top 5000 projects.
An independent Airdrop in honor of the STRK launch is also conducted by the OKX exchange. To receive the Airdrop from the exchange, you must make a deposit of at least 100 STRK or purchase 100 STRK on the exchange by March 4, 2024, conduct at least 3 transactions on spot and/or derivatives, and hold assets on the exchange worth at least 100 USDT in any cryptocurrency. If you meet one or more of these criteria, you can claim your tokens until June 20, 2024; otherwise, all unclaimed tokens will be redistributed in future distributions.
Looking at the list of Airdrop claimants from Starknet, it can rightfully be called the most extensive distribution of free tokens, for which developers have already received quite a few comments, especially regarding the requirement to hold at least 0.005 ETH in the Starknet wallet. While dissatisfaction may still be found among ordinary users or bots, Ethereum developers, validators, dYdX users, and especially ordinary programmers involved in the top 5000 projects, will be at least grateful for such a "generous gesture" from the Starknet developers.
In the screenshot below, a validator is rewarded with 3600 STRK, participating in Ethereum POS mining since December 2020. That is, at the current price of the STRK token at 2 USD, the reward amounted to just over 7000 USD.
