A week ago, the company engaged in the development of third-party firmware for Asics Braiins OS announced that all Asic miners on BM1387 chips from Bitmain (Antminer S9, S9i, S9j, T9, T9 +, R4) are able to support the publicly available Overt AsicBoost function, with which Asic miners consume less electricity by 13%. Yesterday, the Bitman company itself issued a press release with the statement that all new firmware for their miners will also officially support this technology.
